YSR Kadapa: Leader of Opposition in the AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy received a thunderous welcome from the people of Yerraguntla in Mylavaram at the beginning of Day-5 of the prestigious Praja Sankalpa Yatra, on Saturday.

Scores of students, women, village elders and farmers gathered in huge numbers and lined up along the yatra route to interact with the YSRCP chief. On his arrival, youth rushed forward to take selfies with their leader. Needless to say, the young leader did not disappoint the youth and agreed for their selfie requests.

Some of the farmers who spoke to YS Jagan stated that they did not receive loan waiver as promised by the state government. The interests rates are piling up and the government is not coming to their rescue, they said. Similarly, contract teachers also expressed their anguish to the YSRCP president. They told him that the Chandrababu Naidu government did not regularise their services as promised. Addressing them, YS Jagan assured that after his government assumes power he will redress their grievances without delay.

Meanwhile, the local police diverted traffic at Proddatur to control the surging crowds.
