New Delhi: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to update him about his upcoming biopic, "Sachin: A Billion Dreams".

The film captures Tendulkar's cricketing and personal life in substantial detail. It also reveals few aspects of his life which have never been known before. The movie is all set to hit the silver screens on May 26. Sachin's meeting with PM Modi comes just a week ahead of the release. The star was accompanied by his wife Anjali.

In his response, the Prime Minister said Sachin's story will inspire many and would teach them how to succeed in life.

The 44-year-old sports icon also took to Twitter to share a picture of his meeting with Modi

The prime minister also tweeted about the meeting.
