Hyderabad: Telangana High Court strikes off the petition filed against the Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ and ‘Lakshmi's Veeragrantham.’

According to the details, an individual with the name Satyanarayana has filed a Lunch Motion petition against the release of the movie Lakshmi’s NTR and Lakshmi’s Veeragrantham. He mentioned in the petition that the release of these movies at this juncture might lead to issues of law and order.

After a thorough inquiry, the High Court directed that every individual has the right to express his feelings so the release of the movies cannot be stopped.

HC ordered the Telangana government to take action on the objectional content present in the movie. State advocate general added with the Court that the state police are equipped to handle the law and order issue. After his argument Court ordered for the release of the movie.

Meanwhile, RGV’s Lakshmi’s NTR is based on the important events in the life of the late actor turned politician NT Rama Rao and Lakshmi’s Veeragrantham is directed by Kethireddy Jagadeeshwer Reddy.

‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ was earlier slated to release on 22 March, but as the post-production is taking time, the date has been pushed to March 29. The other movie ‘Lakshmi’s Veeragrantham’ is expected to release on 22 March.
