Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali which created a new benchmark for other movies with its collections across the globe is celebrating three years of release.

The movie had a grand release on 10 July, 2015. Though there were several films based on the rivalry between two brothers, Baahubali has set a new trend with some great visuals, gripping plot  and high octane scenes.

The director, SS Rajamouli had created a suspense by killing Baahubali at the end of the first film and made people wait for almost two years for its second part to know why the reason behind his killing.

Prabhas as Baahubali and his elder brother Bhallala Deva as Rana Daggubati portrayed the characters well in the story. Rana even garnered critical acclaim for his antagonist role and muscular body.

Much background work was done by the film crew for the huge settings and graphics. The efforts they put in worked well for the movie making it one of the most searched movies on google. Baahubali along with its second part remains unbeaten with its collections in the Indian film industry. Apart from its collections, the movie gets highest TRPs whenever it airs on Television.

Overwhelmed by the audience love towards the movie, the film crew thanked the audience for their unconditional support in making the film a blockbuster hit. "We still remember how excited and nervous we were 3 years ago. The love and affection shown to us will be remembered forever. Thank you so much each and everyone who supported us throughout our journey!," the makers tweeted.

Baahubali franchise starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishna, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in key roles. The movie was produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
