Hyderabad: Busting a high-profile sex racket in Banjara Hills on Saturday, the city police rescued a Mumbai-based actress from a city-based organizer. According to reports, the racket was busted on a tip-off about Ambula Janardhan Rao alias Jonny, a Secunderabad resident and native of East Godavari district, who would collect money in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 from customers who visited room number 518 in Radisson Blu Plaza.

As per police sources, Rao would hire actresses on a contract basis, for Rs 1 lakh per week. The police booked three persons, including Rao, his friend Prashant, and Amit Sharma, a customer from Sainikpuri. It is learnt that Rao has a history of committing similar offences and has been arrested earlier.
