YSRCP chief and Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has arrived at Vizag airport on Friday on a two-day visit to Srikakulam district in North Andhra.

YS Jagan will interact with the Vamsadhara project oustees in Hiramandalam area under Pathapatnam assembly constituency. In the evening, he will address a public meeting and then halt for the night at Kaviti. On Saturday, former MLA and TDP leader Vasireddy Varada Rama Rao will join in the YSRCP in YS Jagan's presence. In the evening he will visit Jagati village in Ichapuram constituency and interact with the kidney ailment afflicted people there.

Serious Security Lapse During YS Jagan's Visit

The local security officials have ignored security protocol of the Leader of the Opposition during his tour of Srikakulam. The officials have left the keys of the car in the bulletproof vehicle and the vehicle got automatically locked. As a result, YS Jagan did not have a bullet proof vehicle. The officials have requisitioned another bulletproof vehicle from Srikakulam. As this would take at least an hour-and-a-half, the Vizag police commissioner arranged another vehicle.

Interestingly, the police also behaved in a high-handed manner when Sakshi photo journalist tried to click pictures of the locked bulletproof vehicle.
