Vijayawada: Assembly sessions are eventful and entertaining only when members of both the ruling as well as the opposition parties are present in the house. Members and ministers locking horns over trivial issues, name calling, passing the buck, blame game - all these and more are very much a part of a session in the House. Without these it's no fun at all.

It's a known fact that the Opposition YSRCP has boycotted the ongoing sessions in the AP Assembly over ruling party giving plum portfolios to MLAs who switched loyalty from YSRCP to TDP. And there seems to be no heat in the winter sessions with the main opposition seats empty. Not only people who eagerly watch the session live on TVs but the absence of the opposition also bored the TDP members themselves.

Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Wednesday remarked that there was no kick in the AP assembly without the presence of YSRCP MLA Roja who's also popular for her appearance on Jabardasth.

"There's no kick in AP Assembly without Jabardasth Roja," said the senior minister while speaking to reporters in an informal interaction.
